Our vicar is Revd. Graeme Richardson.
At the service on Thursday 10 April 2014 we celebrated a new Ministry. The Collation was conducted by The Rt Revd David Urquart, Bishop of Birmingham and the Induction by The Venerable Hayward Osborne, Archdeacon of Birmingham - see photos.
Father Graeme grew up in Nottinghamshire, attended The Minster School in Southwell (a Church of England comprehensive), and studied Philosophy and Theoloy at Oriel College, Oxford. He has worked in the Church of England since 1997; he has been a Pastoral Assistant in a Primary School in central London, a speech-writer for the Archbishop of Canterbury, and Curate of St Mary Magdalene, Hatfield Hyde. From 2006 to 2014 he was Chaplain and Fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford.
In September 2000, Fr Graeme married Dr Helen Fronius, a university lecturer. They have one daughter, Matilda, born in January 2014.
Since his ordination in 2003 Fr Graeme has taken many baptism, wedding and funeral services – he sees these pastoral services as being at the heart of the Church’s mission, and takes great care with them. He’s always happy to see a parishioner to discuss them: do get in touch!
Fr Graeme’s primary aim at St Peter’s Harborne is to help the worshipping community grow numerically and spiritually, and he asks for your prayers in this task.
