St Peter's Choir
The Choir is affiliated to the RSCM (Royal School of Church Music) and treble choristers follow the ‘Voice for Life’ choral training scheme to learn vocal technique and music theory.
‘Singing lies at the heart of worship. Voice for Life has a valuable part to play in giving life and soul to us all as we worship and learn.’ Dr. John Rutter

The younger choristers are encouraged as they begin to learn a new repertoire by dedicated sessions and by the support of older choristers.
The choir currently consists of 6 Trebles, 3 Sopranos, 3 Altos and 3 tenors / basses. Head Chorister is Rosie Stubbs, who has been singing with the choir since she was 8.
The Choir is always on the lookout for new members (previous choral experience is welcome but not essential). Treble Choristers - boys and girls from 8 years+ - are welcome. We are always delighted when any new adults join the choir.
Choir rehearsals take place weekly on Fridays at 6.15 – 8.00pm trebles, 7.30 – 8.30pm adults, and Sundays at 9.30am and 5.45pm, just before the services. Please contact David Friel, Director of Music on 07759 827190.
