Junior Church
We welcome children to all our services

Our Junior Church meets in the Church Hall at 10.00am, apart from the first Sunday of the month which is our All Age Eucharist.
Junior Church has three groups, Pebbles for younger children (under the age of 6), Rocks for older children and now Boulders for yrs 3-6 of Primary School.
The two younger groups start together with some worship, and then continue in groups for games, activities and crafts. They join with the big church for communion or a blessing, and to tell them about what they have been learning about.
Boulders also come to church for the Sunday 10am service. In the middle of the service they go into the side Chapel with two adults ftom the Boulders team and talk theology together. There's some Bible reading, prayer and learning some 'Greek of the week'. At the Sharing of the Peace , Boulders come back into the main congregation and share the rest of the service with everyone else. It's suitable for any ability and all stages of Christian development.
After the service we all have tea/coffee/squash and biscuits while we spend more time together as a church family.

All adults in charge of Junior Church and Boulders are fully DBS checked and trained in safeguarding, and can include Revd Canon Kate, Lay Readers and members of the commissioned Pastoral Team.

Come and give it a try. There's no ongoing membership of the group needed. You can join or leave at any time. It's free and it's fun to talk about God!
