Junior Church

We welcome children to all our services.

Our engaging Junior Church meets in the Church Hall at 10.00am, apart from the first Sunday of the month which is our All Age Eucharist.

Junior Church has two groups, one for younger children (under the age of 6) and one for older children. We start all together with some worship, and then continue in our groups for games, activities and crafts.

We join with the big church for communion or a blessing, and to tell them about what we have been learning about! Afterwards we all have tea/coffee/squash and biscuits while we spend more time together as a church family.

Family Nature Activity Morning
Saturday 20 May 10.00 - 12.00

Celebrating all that God has created and giving it a helping hand along the way!

The activities will be as follows:

  • Make a bird feeder by upcycling a plastic bottle

  • Create natural art, but first the children must hunt for the right natural objects in the churchyard

  • To raise awareness for Christian Aid's "The Big Pea Challenge" we will paint a plant pot and then plant some peas to grow at home

  • Plant wildflowers to support and attract even more nature into our churchyard

We suggest a donation of £5 per family, which will go in full towards making St Peter's hall more energy efficient. Donations will be collected on the day.

This is the Eventbrite link to book. Please just book one place per family. We'll give families of St Peter's 2 weeks to book, after which time we'll open it up to other churches.
